Neurodevelopmental Support
We’re excited to share that we’ve secured funding to create a brand-new programme of early support for Bolton parents and carers of children with neurodevelopmental differences — including autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia and more.
This investment comes from Greater Manchester NHS and is part of a wider programme to provide families the right information and help as early as possible — including before a diagnosis is in place. That means whether you’re noticing differences for the first time, waiting for an assessment, or supporting a child with an existing diagnosis, this offer is for you.

Exploring Sensory Differences Workshop
This session will commence late Spring and will be a free, 2 hour workshop, for parents and carers who want to gain an understanding pf the basics of sensory needs and differences. Sensory differences and how our child respond to sensory input can be a part of many neurodevelopmental conditions. This session will provide you with a basic understanding and also provides the opportunity to meet other families and explore our growing parent carer resource tools.
Parent Carer Support Session – Themed
We are developing a range of group sessions for parents to join that will combine a learning opportunity with the opportunity for conversation with other families. Our initial topics will be sleep, eating and toileting. We will pack the session with top tips and plenty of signposting.
Green Room Resource Hub
We are developing a collection of tools, aids and resources that are generally only found as online purchases, so that parents and carers can have a look and feel of products before making purchases. As parents of young adults with additional needs we have spent a fortune over the years on items that have never been used! We’ll have things like weighted blankets. fidget toys, books for children and parents and more.
